William Robert "Bobby" Brogden, 86, of Creedmoor passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
Born in Durham County on December 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Roy Davis Brogden and Margie Cleve Beck Brogden.
The family will receive friends Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor. Reverend Dan Hill will officiate. Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery in Creedmoor.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Elizabeth Williford Brogden; one son, Wayne Brogden; four grandsons, Eddie Brogden (Toni); Shane Brogden (Lindsey), Brandon Garrett (Taylor) and Grant Brogden and four great grandchildren, Ethan and Harleigh Brogden and Holden and Colson Brogden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Roy Brogden.
