William Robert Browning III "Robbie", 53, of Stem passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Duke Medical Center.
Born in Durham County, NC, he was the son of Nell Paschall Knibiehly and the late William Robert Browning Jr.
Robbie loved the Lord and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He always had a positive attitude about life, even through numerous heart surgeries and health struggles. He was an avid plant lover and growing up at the coast, he had a passion for surfing. Above all else, Robbie loved his family immensely.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor Chapel with Rev. Johnny Yount officiating. Burial will follow at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.
Survivors include two sons, Hunter William Browning and Jake Harrison Browning; his mother, Nell Paschall Knibiehly (Earl); four sisters, Crystal Jade Roberson, Melody Star Aleman, Angel Rose Browning and Vicki Linwood; two brothers, Ernest Floyd Browning and Steven Paul Browning and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends and family to send plants to honor Robbie's memory.
