William Cody Edwards

William Cody Edwards, 16, of Oxford passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 as result of injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident.

Born in Harrison County, MS, he was the son of Cathleen Ann Armstrong and the late James Raymond Edwards Jr.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace's Chapel Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Les Puryear.

Survivors include his mother, Cathy Tice; two brothers, Brandon Edwards and Zach Edwards; his grandfather and "guardian", James Edwards Sr.; an aunt, Chonnie Edwards and a cousin, Dillion Edwards. He was preceded in death by his dad, James Edwards Jr. and a brother, Matthew Edwards.
