William E. Gerock

William "Bill" Gerock 75, of Henderson, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home.

Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of William Roland Gerock and Geraldine Sanders Gerock.

Mr. Gerock was a longtime member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church and a proud graduate of Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, VA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Holly Joyce May Gerock; one stepdaughter, Lisa Fleming Long (Tim); one stepson, Christopher Todd Fleming (Adrienne); four step grandchildren, Caitlin Fleming, Bradley Fleming, Glenn Long and Kristin Long Ellis (Preston); and two step greatgrandchildren, Sophie Ellis and Macy Ellis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Henry Harvell; and one stepbrother, Joseph Ernest Wiggins.
