William A. Gregory

William Andrew "Snap" Gregory, 88, of Henderson, NC died Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late William Thomas Gregory and Jennie Pendergrass Gregory.  He was the widower of Evelyn Jones Gregory.

Mr. Gregory was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Surviving are two sons, James "Jim" Daniel Gregory (Debbie) and Paul Robert Gregory; three sisters, Esther "Susie" Justice, Martha G. Lumpkin and Rachel "Cindy" Cunningham; one brother, Samuel Gaius Gregory; four grandchildren, Michael Gregory (Kelly), Brian Gregory (Amber), Jamie Ann Gregory and Stacy Church, and five great-grandchildren, Hannah Gregory, David Norwood, M.J. Gregory, Dayton Church, and Aria Gregory.  Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by, one sister, Becky G. Slootweg, two brothers, James D. Gregory and John Thomas Gregory, and a grandson-in-law, Jody Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday immediately following the service at the cemetery.
