William Louis Brogden, 79, of Stem, NC passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Duke University Hospital.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Coy Louis Brogden and Irma Marie Ross Brogden.

Mr. Brogden was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Michael L. Brogden (Angel) and Jeffrey Brogden; eight grandchildren, Austin Brogden (Caitlin), Dallas Brogden (Savannah), Mallary Kelley (Ryan), Gracelyn White (Justin), Brooklyn Brogden, Lincoln Brogden, Walker Brogden, and Evelyn Brogden; and two great-grandchildren, Maverick Brogden, and Daxton Brogden. Alongside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye Clements Brogden and one daughter, Shannon B. Peyton.

The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Rick Finley. They will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 2-3:00 p.m. at the church.
