William T. Morris

William "Tommy" Morris, 70, of Oxford, NC passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Duke University Hospital.

Born in Page, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Harry Thomas Morris and Jerline Mae Carper Morris.

Tommy was retired from the United States Navy as a Petty Officer First Class.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford Chapel. Conducted by the Rev. Keith Williams.

Survivors include one son, Thomas Morris (Manda); three grandchildren, Wyatt Morris, Liam Morris and Caroline Morris; five sisters, Beverly Denny, Sherry Brooks (Willie), Marilyn Allen, Nancy Toy (John) and Lisa Jones (Wesley); two brothers, Mark Morris (Farzen) and Steven Morris; a special friend, Dorothy Jean Adcock; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Edward Morris and Greg Vance Morris.
