William Daniel Stanley Jr. "Dale", 66, of Creedmoor passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his home.
Born in Wake County, he was the son of the late William Daniel Stanley Sr. and Elma Gray Clark. Dale was an avid Nascar and Carolina fan. He had a funny personality and always had a story to tell. He had a passion for music from artists and bands such as Bob Seger, Willie Nelson, Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Eagles. He loved his dogs immensely.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife of forty-six years, Cheryl Cook Stanley; one daughter, Jennifer Stanley Rzeszut; five nieces, Kelly Stanley, Aurora Loredo, Tara Shiver, Kristin Farrell and Emma Cook; four nephews, Loupe Loredo, Jimmy Watson, Matthew Cook and Grayson Cook and many special sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, great nieces, great nephews and extended family. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Melody Loredo.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 16, 2023 from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
