Willie Ann Ridout

Willie Ann Kidd Ridout, 77, of Warrenton, NC (in the Afton community) died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

Born in Mecklenburg County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Massenburg Kidd and Viola Heath Kidd.  She was the widow of Egerton Baker Ridout Jr.

Mrs. Ridout retired as a Branch Manager of PNC Bank, where she was employed for twenty-three years and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Surviving are two daughters, Amie R. Reeves (Michael) and Kristie L. Ridout (Russell C. Humphries) and one son, Egerton B. (E.B.) Ridout III (Shannon); one granddaughter, Preslie Reeves; one sister, Carol L. Kidd and five brothers, Roger Lee Kidd, Dennis (Buck) Kidd, Eugene Kidd, Teddy Dean Kidd and Steven Kidd.  Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy Kidd and Jerry Kidd.

The family will receive friends at the home of Michael and Amie Reeves.
