Winifred D. Sherman

Winifred Dean Sherman, 65, of Oxford, NC, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, at her home.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of Alfred Sherman and the late Geraldine Parham Sherman.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Meadowview Memorial Park. Conducted by Rev. Joe Don Cooper.

In addition to her father, survivors include one aunt, Carolyn Parham Frazier; as well as many cousins and extended family members. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Lewis and Lula Belle Sherman; and her maternal grandparents, Calvin and Hettie Parham.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Frazier, Tim Frazier, Steven Frazier, Brandon Frazier, David Harris and Jacob Harris.
