Yvonda Whitman Cedatol, 65, of Kittrell, NC, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at her home. Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of Eugene Whitman and the late Maxine Loyd Hardy. Yvonda was a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was employed with Revlon for over 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cedatol; two daughters, Valeria Bibee (Reggie) and Samantha Morgan (Stephane); one son, Matthew Morgan; five grandchildren, Chayenne Sanford (Brandon), Lexie Bibee, Zach Bibee, Kynzie Van Tassel, James Van Tassel, and Jessica Van Tassel; one great granddaughter, Serina Sanford; one sister, Wanda Strother Knight (J.C.); one brother, Steve Whitman (Ullie); and two beloved nieces, Stephanie Shearin (Nokomus) and Susan Spain (Billy). In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Hardy, and one brother, Tony Whitman.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, conducted by Steve Wagman and Chaplin Bruce Beck. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens. The family will receive friends at Sossamon Funeral Home on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and all other times at the home.

Pallbearers will be Nokomus Shearin Jr, Adam Barham, Billy Spain, Camden Spain, Brandon Sanford, and David Beckwith.
