A patient and people-loving angel just obtained her wings when Kimberly Shea
Hilton Wilson left our world at Duke Medical Center on Friday, July 16, 2021.
After years of declining health and weeks of hospitalization, although she could
no longer stand, she gave her all to her patients while suffering from the deteriorating effects of a childhood disease. Kim attended Berea Elementary School
and graduated from J.F. Webb High School.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Kenneth Desmond Wilson; her son,
Kenneth Desmond Wilson II; her parents, B. Franklin Hilton and Lessie Parham
Hilton Fogle and her brother, B. Kevin Hilton.
Surviving is a sister, Valerie Lynn Hilton Six Williams of Youngsville;
nephews, Brian Six, Cody and Carson Hilton; Uncles Graham and Shane
Parham; aunts, Manie Parham Currin and Annettte Parham Myers, all of Oxford
and seven cousins and countless friends. Her faithful, constant and loving companion, "Buckshot" is left to mourn her loss.
A graveside memorial service honoring Kim's life, sisterly love and work will
be held on Sunday, August 1 at 4 p.m. at Meadowview Memorial Gardens, US
Hwy 15 North, Oxford officiated by Dr. Jeffrey Hensley. All family and friends
are invited to attend. The family will be honored to visit with friends following
the service.
Floral tributes are acceptable, but Kim was such a giving person that she would
smile down on friends who offer contributions to St. Jude Children's Research
Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Granville County
Animal Shelter, 515 New Commerce Drive, Oxford, NC 27565 and designate
"Dog Rescue and S&N Program".
