Nina Lee Needleman Parrish, of Durham, NC died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her home.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Moses Needleman and Lutie Yarborough Smith Lea.
Mrs. Parrish was an artist, womens wear retailer, computer programmer, gifted chef and restaurateur, renowned hostess, and friend to many.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at Flowers Funeral Chapel, Henderson, NC, conducted by Rev. Bill Witt. Burial will follow in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Joan Parrish of Durham, Julie Parrish of Durham, and Diana Parrish and husband, Max Wallace, of Hillsborough; and a son, Alton Parrish of Durham.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at Flowers Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Lilly, Gordon Fitz-Simons, Dennis Bailey, David Malone, Norman Gossett III, and Ed Hassell.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Liberty Christian Church, Cemetery Fund, c/o Mattie May 1897 Epsom-Rocky Ford Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
