Ruby Abbott Harris , 87, of Henderson, NC, died Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center .

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Abbott and Beadie Ayscue Abbott.

She was a member of Brookston Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are one son, Haywood Harris; two sisters, Paulette Arrington, and Shirley Pendergrass; and one brother, Newcomb Pendergrass. Alo ng with her parents she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
