Sanford K. Tant Jr.

Sanford Kinsmon Tant Jr. 75, of Henderson, NC died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of the late Pong Soon Finn Tant and Sanford Kinsmon Tant Sr.

Mr. Tant was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a Supervisor with Davey Tree Company.  He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 15, 2019 at 4 :00 p.m. at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa Robinson Tant; three daughters, Toni Sanford (Curtis), Mona Ross (Brandon) and Tricia Ray (Gene); three sons, Patrick Tant (R echelle) ), Craig Edwards (Karen) and Stephen Tant (Brittany); three sisters, Cynthia T. Breedlove (Tommy), Phyllis Harrelson and Doreen Pernell (Ronnie), two brothers, Jimmy Tant (Ruby) and Larry Tant.  He was preceded in death by a son Sanford K. Tant III and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, the hour prior to the service at the church.  All other times they will be at his home.
