Thomas Fleming Tommy Greenway, 70, of Henderson, NC died Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Irvin Brocious and Lorene Fleming Greenway.
Mr. Greenway was a co-founder and owner of the original Middleburg Steak House. He was a member of West End Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at West End Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Ralph McGowan.
A loving son, husband, daddy, step-daddy, and PaPa, he is survived by his wife, Susan Winstead Greenway, two daughters, Kristy Greenway Walker (Jason) and Jody Greenway Pernell (Spencer); two step-daughters, Megan Parrish (Brian) and Taylor Dobel; three grandchildren, Trace Kirby, Nathan Pernell, and Karsyn Pernell; and five step-grandchildren, Koty Parrish, Chase Parrish, Greyson Parrish, Maggie Parrish, and Josie Dobel.
The family will receive friends Friday, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the home of Jody and Spencer Pernell, 480 Stewart Farm Road, Henderson and at the church fellowship hall the hour before the service.
